   Informative note: 


   Prevention and protection measures during the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 risk period.


    Given the situation caused by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, from 29 June 2020 consultations in the Archive of the Senate shall comply with the following conditions: 

  1. The Archive of the Senate shall prioritise phone and telematic consultations through the customer service channels mentioned below.
  2. In the event that a user requires physical consultation, a prior appointment must be made, communicating the date and time they intend to attend. The Archive shall confirm space and personnel availability to carry out the consultation.
  3. When making an appointment, the user shall attach a detailed list of the documents they intend to peruse, so they can be available at the time of consultation.
  4. Users must follow the instructions set forth in the Safety Protocol of the Senate, such as maintaining the 1.5 metre safety distance, using protective masks, using gloves when examining documents, and any other recommendations made by the people in charge of the consultation room, as applicable Where possible, it would be desirable for users to bring their own material (laptop or tablet, pens...)

   We remind you that the Archive has a large number of digitalised files and documents available on the website of the Senate, such as the Historic Collections and Journals of Sittings (1834-1923) or the Gelabert Parliamentary Bills since the VIII Legislature. From Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 pid.m.. 

For reasons of security, access is not permitted when plenary sittings are in session (View calendar).
